Creating Cool Futures: Code E LOCS Partners with Vegas Force Foundation for the C.O.O.L Summer Program

When community comes together with creativity, leadership, and tech inspiration, powerful things happen. That’s exactly what went down this summer as Code E LOCS joined forces with the Vegas Force Foundation (VFF) and other community partners to bring students a fresh, energizing experience through the C.O.O.L Summer Program.
Hosted at Clark High School and in partnership with the Lied Memorial Boys & Girls Club, the four-week program gave students more than just summer fun—it gave them space to grow, lead, and build skills that last long after the break.
What We Brought to the Table
As part of the C.O.O.L Summer Program, Code E LOCS helped lead workshops that introduced students to creative tech, digital problem-solving, and leadership through innovation. Whether it was team-building games, hands-on coding, or exploring how technology connects to real-life goals, we met youth where they are—and helped them stretch toward what’s possible.
Students ages 12 to 18 joined daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with extended hours for deeper enrichment. Every moment was designed to spark confidence, imagination, and curiosity.
Why It Matters to Us
At Code E LOCS, we believe that every young person deserves access to opportunity, no matter their background. The C.O.O.L Summer Program was built around that same value—offering a safe, supportive space for youth in the Clark High School community to learn, play, and be seen.

Programs like C.O.O.L are just the beginning. We’re continuing to offer free coding and creative tech classes for Las Vegas youth, and we're always looking for volunteers, sponsors, and partners to grow this work even further.
