**Summer Fun with AI and Business: Teens Dive into AI-Powered Entrepreneurship**
This summer, the Historic Westside Campus buzzed with youthful energy and innovation as teens aged 14 to 18 participated in an exciting four-week series, *Entrepreneurship for Youth*. Held at the Strong Future Technology Center, a Cox Innovation Center site, the program ran from June 27th to July 25th, 2024, and offered a one-of-a-kind opportunity for young minds to explore the intersection of AI and business.
Through engaging workshops, students learned how to harness the power of artificial intelligence to conceptualize and build their own businesses. From brainstorming innovative business ideas to crafting names, marketing strategies, branding, and customer acquisition plans, the workshops covered every essential step of launching a successful enterprise.
A unique highlight of the series was the hands-on exploration of AI tools. Participants discovered the art of effective prompting, a vital skill for leveraging AI to generate tailored results. Beyond the technical, the program emphasized critical considerations for starting a business, including ethics, bias, and responsible use of AI.
The workshop didn’t just teach students how to use AI; it taught them to think critically about its impact. By addressing ethical dilemmas and potential biases in AI, participants gained a well-rounded understanding of how to incorporate technology responsibly into their entrepreneurial journeys.
The *Entrepreneurship for Youth* series not only equipped students with practical business skills but also sparked creativity and confidence in the next generation of innovators. This wasn’t just summer learning; it was a launchpad for future leaders who now have the tools—and the mindset—to transform their ideas into reality.
Stay tuned for more stories of innovation as we continue to empower young entrepreneurs to dream big and think smart with AI!
